GOODBYE MR. LOSER《令伯特烦恼》GALA PREMIERE

GOODBYE MR. LOSER is a remake of the Chinese sleeper hit of the same title (夏洛特烦恼), directed by Malaysian Director Adrian Teh 郑建国 (THE WEDDING DIARY I & II, KING OF MAHJONG) and stars Mediacorp artiste, Ian Fang 方伟杰.

Yi Bai, a middle-aged nobody with a lot of regrets attended the wedding of Xiao Wei, his high school crush. He got drunk and made a fool of his wife. Angry, she chased him with a knife, forcing Yi Bai to hide in the washroom. When he emerged, he found himself in another dimension – he travelled back in time to 1999!

Yi Bai is a high school student again and he can re-live his life, allowing him to fix any mistakes he made and achieve all the fame and success he missed out on the first time around. He records hit songs long before the original artists and makes lots of money, but the more successful he becomes, the more he realizes that people around him are just making use of him and his wealth. Will he find anyone who is truly genuine?

The movie received overwhelming response at its World premiere at the 12th Osaka Asian Film Festival.

The original theme song “陪你” (With You) is written by director Adrian Teh 郑建国 and sang by 范瑋琪 Christine Fan

Going to watch the show at the Capitol Theatre!

This guy seem like some 'Ou Yang Fei Fan' style in the "Our Times" movie.

I would say this movie is funny.. it has touching moments and comedy at the same time.. has a story line which flows well thru out the show. Thumbs up!

Spicy Thai - Thai Cafe

Yes.. I'm back at Spicy Thai - Thai Cafe to try out new dishes..
and this time with my partner. :)

Located at
Blk 115 Aljunied Avenue 2.

We can choose to sit indoor or outdoor (below)

Outdoor is pretty breezy and it has a lush greenery along the side.. they were created by the owner himself.

These were what I had that day with my partner.

Kaeng Som Cha Om (soup) $18
This hot pot is pretty interesting.. its not very spicy and its made hot with traditional charcoal burning inside the column at the center of the pot. See earlier picture you will know wad I mean. My first time trying this and I find it really nice! Lotsa vege inside the soup! :)

Stir-fry Broccoli with Scallops $25
Broccoli is the healthiest vege you can find.. and as you can see from my picture, the broccoli are very green and fresh. Spicy Thai - Thai Cafe made a very nice combination with mushrooms, carrots and scallops!

Stir-fry Fish Maw with Crab Meat $20
Lovin' this as I don have to peel the crab and yet enjoy the taste of crab meat! :)

Deep Fried Sea Bass with Thai Turmeric Sauce $Seasonal Price
The fish was really fresh and it mixed well with the Thai Turmeric Sauce.. We finished it all! :P

Cold Tofu with Special Thai Seafood Sauce $16
This is an interesting dish too.. the gravy is abit like "Hor Fun" but with alot more ingredients in it. But just to take note, there are ginger in the gravy - for those who don't take ginger. :)

Feet Haven Opens 3rd Outlet in Bukit Timah!

A Traditional Treat with a Modern Twist

Old school wellness treatment gains popularity among younger crowd

Foot reflexology boutique boasts hip interiors, fun touches and support for emerging artists

8 March 2017, Singapore – Take any old-fashioned ideas of dowdyfoot reflexology parlours located in obscure corners of old shopping malls and cast them aside. With the opening of Feet Haven’s 3rd outlet in Bukit Timah, the company is shaking off these outdated impressions and injecting a shot of fresh, youthful energy into the industry.

Along with café hopping, chilling out with tea and pastries, or spending the afternoon getting mani-pedis at nail bars-cum-cafés, Feet Haven is declaring foot reflexology a bona fide hipster activity to indulge in. Customers who are flocking through the door are young – typically in their 20s and 30s – card-carrying members of the generation who are spreading the word of this hidden wellness gem virtually and virally. And the trendy crowd approves: Feet Haven’s boutiques have received rave reviews among customers in the area and in the blogging community for its stellar foot reflexology and body massages.

Calming music and essential oil scents wafting in the air and free flows of beverages for customers come together to create a soft, intimate environment. But Feet Haven offers more for a discerning crowd who has seen it all. Fun daily status updates outside the shop and a cool, fresh interior style of clean walls accented by Polaroid shots and the work of independent artists and designers; shelves of books and magazines; and neutral, taupe furnishings make a welcoming, appealing impression.

Feet Haven’s 3rd Outlet at Bukit Timah is tucked away in a little recluse of Jalan Bingka, Bukit Timah, away from the hassle and bustle of the world. Offering a whole range of services under one roof,  the company restores customers’ well-being and calm with their therapeutic services of body treatment and reflexology.

The locations of its current two boutiques are hipster-approved; instead of hard-to-find spots in veteran shopping centres, they are established in shophouses within the creative, trendy districts of Katong and Serangoon Gardens, sharing neighbourhoods with establishments like Cedele and Brotzeit.

Signature standout treatments include the 60-minute Shiok Feet Indulgence; 60-minute Shiok Basic Body and 45-minute Shiok Basic Blend of a shoulder and neck massage coupled with foot reflexology. Feet Haven only hires senior, experienced masseurs who provide pampering sessions that have lulled many customers to sleep long before the treatment ends.

Let's take a look around Feet Haven Bukit Timah! :)

A place where you will get yourself indulge in the relaxation in the hands of the masseur from Feet Haven!

I personally like the ambience of the new outlet.. it has a pleasant reception area where customers can lounge in if they arrive too early or sth for their massage appointment. Massage is a therapy that I truly love and enjoy very much.. after a long tired week at work.. this is a place where I can let loose my body and and truly relax myself through the procedures provided by the masseurs.

Needless to say? Get your body down for a try of their massage by their experienced masseurs!
