PerBacco Italian Food Tasting! [Food Review]

With a nice bar fronting the restaurant.. it gives the customers a chillax feel.
a place where you can sit down and chill.. have a beer or wine after a tired day of work.
Its just minutes walk from the CBD (Central Business District) area.

But right inside.. they serve really nice Italian Fine Dining food.

A bit of rustic feel.. yet providing a Fine Dining setting in the restaurant.

Bloggers snapping away at the Food Tasting session.. with myself sitting right at the far end listening to the founder of the restaurant, KS (in white shirt) to what he has to say about the restaurant, the food and everything.

Below are the Italian Food that we had that day!

Antipasti
 (Appetisers)

Strudel di Verdure e Fonduta di Formaggio
Grilled Vegetables & Mozzarella Strudel with Cheese Fondue (S$18)

With the taste of the Cheese Fondue.. every bite of this is heavenly..
and I didn't know Grilled Vegetables can be wrapped with a coating of this crispy crust and yet tasted so nice!

Frittelle Soffici e Involtini al Prosciutto e Scamorza
Smoked Scamorza Cheese Wrapped with Italian ham and soft Fritters (S$18)

This was one of my favourite dish.. hence it was featured on my Instagram post @shaunowyeong :)
Crispiness of the Fritters and the tenderness of the ham just made me go.. "Wow!"

Crocchette al Granchio
Crab Meat Crocchette with Spicy Tuna Sauce (S$18)

Almost all the Singaporeans like spicy stuffs.. and with this Spicy Tuna Sauce added to it, its Perfect!
In addition, this Crocchette isn't oily! Up! :)

Pasta

Linguine alla Carbonara di Astice
Linguine with Lobster and Egg Yolk Cream Sauce (S$28)

Wow... this was undeniably one of the best Lobster Linguine I've tried so far!
They really peeled out the Lobster meat fresh from the shell.

Gnocchi di Patata con Coda di Manzo Brasata e Tartufo
Potato Gnocchi with Braised Oxtail and Truffle Essence (S$28)

This was probably my first time trying out Gnnochi.. its wasn't disappointing but rather.. I find it interesting with the spongy-ness of the Gnnochi. But its nice la! :)

Main Course

Dentice al Forno con Sugo di Pomodorini e Burrata
Oven Baked Red Snapper Fillet, Cherry Tomato Sauce and Fresh Burrata ($32)

This was one of my favourite dish too! The Red Snapper Filler was AWESOME!!!
SUPERBLY WELL MADE!
I couldn't have enough of this.. I hope I can have the whole plate of it!
And Guess What!? The Burrata was AWESOME TOO!! Thumbs Up!

Guanciale di Vitello Brasato al Vino Rosso
Braised Veal Cheek in red wine with Cannellini Beans (S$34)

It may just be a normal piece of meat on your plate.. but once you've tried it, you will find that its really special with how soft the meat can be and tasted so well with the taste of Red Wine!

Dessert

Cheesecake alla Ricotta e Pesche Sciroppate
Ricotta Cheese Tart with Peach Compote (S$14)

Pannacotta alle Nocciole Caramellate
Caramelized Hazelnuts Pannacotta (S$12)

Wow! All of their foods are mouth watering and looks delicious especially the Braised Veal Cheek in red wine with Cannellini Beans. YUMMMMM :)
Anyway, you should also try the best steak in Manila. I'm sure you'll love it too.
