JURONG BIRDPARK with Michelle on 2nd May 2011

Ya... its quite some time back already. :P
It was a Monday. Labour Day!

They are called Major Mitchell's Cockatoo


these are the food that they feed the parrots.

This two-hectare African Waterfall Aviary remains as the world’s largest walk-in aviary with the highest man-made waterfall standing at over 30 metres.

After watching a show - Birds n Buddies Show :)

i tried to feed the parrots too... i guess those are just rice soaked in some water..

Some info about Jurong Birdpark:
Opened in 1971, Jurong Bird Park is the largest bird park in the world, offering a 20.2-hectare hillside haven for 5,000 birds representing 380 species. Its Heliconia Repository, with 108 heliconia species and cultivars in its collection, is one of the largest in the region. With key attractions such as the Bird Discovery Centre, African Waterfall Aviary, Lory Loft Aviary, Southeast Asian Birds Aviary and the award-winning African Wetlands, the Bird Park attracted close to 900,000 visitors in 2009.
