NSman questioned after controversial blog entry!

An NSman with the Singapore Police Force has been hauled in by his reservist unit for questioning after his controversial blog entry on the cuffing of Lianhe Wanbao photographer Shafie Goh, according to local news blog Temasek Review.

Last month, the senior photo-journalist was handcuffed by the policeman when he was trying to get a picture at the flood-hit Bukit Timah, causing a massive uproar among netizens .

A week after Abdillah Zamzuri shared his thoughts about the incident on his blog, the Investigating Officer (IO) from his reservist unit contacted him for questioning, Temasek Review said.

According to Temasek Review, the blogger said that he is being charged for 'Prejudice to the Conduct of Good Order/Discipline'.

However, Zamzuri has not received the formal charge letter yet and has not been informed of the next hearing, the report said.

Exclusive - Videos on Philippines SWAT team stormed bus with hostages in Manila.

MANILA, Philippines — A 12-hour hostage drama aboard a hijacked Philippine bus ended in bloodshed Monday when an angry ex-policeman demanding his job back gunned down eight Hong Kong tourists before police stormed the vehicle and a sniper killed him.

At least seven captives survived, four of whom were seen crawling out the back door of the bus after Philippine police stormed it Monday evening when the hostage-taker started shooting at the 15 Chinese tourists inside, said police Senior Superintendent Nelson Yabut.

He said the hostage-taker was killed with a sniper shot to the head after he wounded a police sharpshooter.

Police and ambulances were lined up next to the vehicle in the pouring rain after the standoff ended. Local hospitals reported seven bodies of hostages were brought in. One other hostage was hospitalized in critical condition, and five others were unharmed.

Two of the surviving hostages were wounded in serious condition and the remaining five are under observation, Hong Kong leader Donald Tsang told reporters in the Chinese territory as he expressed shock and anger at the police response.

The bloodshed rattled the Philippines and raised questions about police ability to deal with hostage-takings.

"How can I be satisfied when there were people who died?" Philippine President Benigno Aquino III told reporters late Monday. But he said the situation deteriorated rapidly from the time the hostage-taker initially showed willingness to release his hostages.

5 Secrets For Bigger, Stronger Muscles

By modifying your diet and exercise programme, you can add kilos of lean muscle to your lean frame in no time. These 5 quick tips should help you fuel your workouts for maximum performance and gains.

1 Go A Long Whey
Mix one scoop of whey-protein into a glass of milk before each workout. Men who take an amino-acid supplement (whey protein is rich in amino acids) before they lift build more muscle than those who fuel up after they exercise.

2 Surrender To The Munchies
Eat snacks all day, but focus on foods that are high in protein and low in saturated fat, like lean meats, nuts, egg whites and low-fat dairy products.

3 Fish For Compliments
Consuming fish that are rich in omega-3 fatty acids — mackerel, sardines, salmon and tuna — will indirectly help you to gain big muscles fast, because it helps muscles become more sensitive to insulin — improving glycogen storage and also the absorption of amino acid into the muscles, while preserving glutamine — a key amino acid responsible for protein metabolism and preventing muscle deterioration.

4 Turn To The White Powder
Creatine is one of the few (legal) muscle supplements that live up to the hype. In one study, users increased their muscle strength by between eight and 14 per cent. Best dose for men: 10g twice a day for two days, followed by a maintenance dosage of 2g daily. But, avoid caffeine — Belgian researchers found that even small amounts of caffeine almost completely blocked the benefits of creatine.

5 Hail This Muscle Helper
Research on HMB or Beta-Hydroxy Beta-methylbutyrate shows that it allows the body to stay in an anabolic (muscle-building) state longer. After four weeks, study subjects given supplemental HMB showed a greater increase in muscle, lost more body fat and were stronger than the group given a placebo.
